NOR- 2024 SB City Race And Tequila Derby

NEW FOR 2024 -  Correction to 2024 Race Calendar - The race to Santa Barbara is on Friday Sept. 6th and The Return Race (Tequila Derby) in on Sunday Sept 8th.  Last year’s race was a big hit. We had a great race and visit including a super dock party supercharged by free AYC supplied Margaritas!  We had 6 boats attend last year and hope to increase the number of boats this year.  We have to make reservations with boat info by the beginning of August so I’m sending this notice early for advance planning purposes.  If you think you might want to do the race, please shoot me an email  sailr19@yahoo.com   Larry Listing 818 521 4225.

RULES 
This race will be governed by the rules as defined in the racing rules of sailing. Any changes to the rules allowed by rule 86 will be stated in the sailing instructions with rule number and specific change.

FEES
The entry fee for all classes is $30 each way or $55 for both ways. Payment for the race(s) and Slips is due by Mid August.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Dates: Friday Sept. 6-  SB City Race- Race to SB, and  Sunday Sept. 8- Race back (Tequila Derby).

Check-In: On the water on channel 68 or come within hailing distance prior to the starting sequence of the first race

Race Start: 11:00 am @ Mandalay Spar  Race Back: TBD

Post Race: There will be a serious Dock Party in SB after the race Friday Night.
